Paul moved to Wakefield, New Hampshire with his wife Dale two years ago from Massachusetts where he grew up and lived for 70 years. They both love the area for its beauty and outside activity. They have 3 children and 13 grandchildren and believe strongly in the importance of a strong Christian education. Paul has worked managing operations in several fields ranging from fabrication to environmental services. He is currently semi-retired but still involved as a consultant for several companies and churches in Massachusetts. He was actively involved in his church in Massachusetts for over 40 years, serving on the Deacon and Elder boards throughout those years. He currently attends Wolfeboro Bible Church.
Cindy lives in Ossipee, NH. Prior to joining the Board, Cindy Hyatt was employed as a school principal for 30 years in Ohio and New Hampshire including a period as head of school at Cornerstone. She holds a Masters degree in Education Administration. She professes an abiding faith in Jesus Christ as savior and is an active member of the First Congregational Church of Ossipee. She loves Community Bible Study, most outdoor activities and winter in New Hampshire.
James is a NH native, and was saved at a young age. He grew up in a Christian home. He now lives in Wolfeboro and attends Calvary Wolfeboro with his family. He attended Concord Christian academy from 4-10th grade. He is a master electrician and builder. He loves CCA and his daughter attends CCA.
Dan Helgerson lives in Wolfeboro, NH. He is a graduate of Washington Bible College and works as an instructor, writer and designer in the field of fluid power which has been his vocation since 1976. He and his wife Karen were involved in youth ministry while their children were growing up. He has served on the Board of Directors for the International Fluid Power Society and on the Principal Advisory Board at Mahar Regional High School. He participates in teaching the Sunday morning classes at his church.
Steve and his wife moved to Wolfeboro in 2019 from the Concord area where they lived for 30 years. They have three children and five grandchildren. Both support Christian education as their children were educated at Christian schools in Epsom and Concord. Steve is a CPA and currently works for the State of New Hampshire. His professional career has largely focused on various financial accounting and reporting, and auditing roles. Steve has been a member of and served in various ministries within three different NH churches and is currently attending Wolfeboro Bible Church.
Ellie and her husband Bob live in Alton Bay and faithfully attend Grace Community Church of Rochester and Farmington. Accepting the Lord Jesus as her Savior at a young age, she was later baptized at 10 years old. There has never been a time when she was not actively participating in a vibrant church family. She is a true New Hampshire native, having been born in Portsmouth and grown up in Rye amidst extended family. Upon completion of four years at Berkshire Christian College, located at the time in Lenox, Mass., she earned a BA in Theology with a minor in Social Work. Ellie has worked in Wolfeboro for 16 years in three different law offices as Office Manager and Administrative Assistant. Ellie and Bob have 6 sons, 9 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. They both hold Christian education in high regard. They love being in the lakes region and enjoying the grandeur of the Lord’s creation here.
Sophia currently lives in Wolfeboro, NH with her daughter Abigail Bishop. Sophia gave her life to Christ when she was 17 years old and has been in pursuit of knowing and loving Him more ever since. She has spent the past 26 years serving alongside her husband in full-time ministry while raising and homeschooling two beautiful daughters, Linsey & Abigail. Sophia has a deep love for Jesus, a passion for education and women’s ministry and a life-long pursuit of understanding the psychology behind identity in Christ. Sophia works for a law office in Wolfeboro and faithfully serves in various capacities at her church, Calvary Wolfeboro. Her two favorite Bible verses are Jeremiah 33:3 and Isaiah 61:1, because Jesus is both the liberator and educator of us all.
