Steve is originally from Massachusetts and returned to New England in 2021 after fourteen years on the mission field. He labored among the indigenous tribes in the Amazon jungle for eleven years. The work included planting two churches, founding and acting as Headmaster and teacher of an elementary school, founding an English Institute, and opening a soup kitchen. In the years immediately preceding his return to the US, Mr. Wuori worked as the Administrative Director of an International Christian School in Quito, Ecuador. He also served as a licensed preacher at a local church, and taught in the church’s pastoral formation program. Steve has a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's of Divinity. As a lifelong learner, he is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry and serves as pastor of a rural church. God has blessed Steve and his wife with four children.
